📢 Summer Office Hours
Plan ahead! Check out our adjusted summer schedule. ☀️

Hi, I’m Danielle Elliott, and this is my 21st year in the classroom. I graduated from Clemson University with a double major in History and Psychology, and I hold two master’s degrees in Education from the University of South Carolina. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach in a variety of settings—including public schools in Richland 2 and Anderson 4, as well as private schools like Heathwood Hall Episcopal School in Columbia and the Montessori School of Anderson.
I’m passionate about helping students build the skills they need to succeed in college and to become thoughtful, engaged citizens. In my classroom, you’ll also meet Quizno, our bearded dragon and unofficial class mascot.
At home, I live with my husband, who teaches math at R.C. Edwards, our two dogs, Buster and Ivy, and we’re proud parents of a Clemson freshman (and Tiger Band member!). In my spare time, I love traveling, cheering on the Tigers, and building big LEGO projects.

My name is Wayne Rivers, and I will be one of the new teachers at Daniel next year. I am currently 23 years old and graduated from Clemson University in May 2024 with a bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and Mathematics. I also recently earned a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) from Clemson last month. I’m excited to join the team here at Daniel and begin this new chapter. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and taking drives through the mountains in my Mustang.

Positive call last week was for showing #Purpose and #Daring. Chamberlin asked for ways to help and when told she was good to go she said "No, I can do more, what do you need" That is truly #DanielPRIDE

Living out PRIDE (Purpose, Responsibility, Integrity, Daring, Service) can be seen in big and small things. A great way to show Responsibility is to turn in your textbook on time. It is an important process for our school to have accurate inventory with the state.

Daniel Color Guard Auditions

As we are now less than a month away from graduation, our kids continue to shine and show #DanielPRIDE. From taking the lead in cleaning the auditorium to referring a classmate to get help, we've seen #Daring, #Empathy, and #Responsibility on full display! #SpreadPositivity

Students, join us for Career Café on Tuesday, April 15 (B day) during your lunch period to learn about what an exciting career in health science looks like. Dr. Shelly Benes is a physician at a family practice. Sign up to hear Dr. Benes' experiences and enjoy a pizza lunch!

Today we celebrate Mr. Culpepper, Mr. Lepa and Mrs. Martin. Our assistant principals work tirelessly for our Daniel community to create a positive learning environment. They truly embody our mission to serve each student and take care of people. We can't thank them enough for all they do!

Two wonderful Positive Calls of the Week for two students that have put in extra time before school, during Lion Time, and even working while eating lunch to earn great marks in Q3. Also a big thank you to their teachers who put in the extra time to help them be successful.
