We enjoyed hosting the Junior Leadership Pickens County students today! What a great group of future leaders. Not only did our students enjoy their visit, we believe the leaders enjoyed playing in our Discovery Den just as much. It was great to have former students back with us and to introduce others to Liberty Primary.

Our annual Liberty Lights Show is TONIGHT 6:00-8:00 at Liberty Primary School! All 4 Liberty schools are participating with over 25 light displays! The cost is $10 per car. Please bring cash/exact change and please do not start lining up for the light show until 5:30 so that the road isn't blocked. See you then!

Families of LPS After School Care Students: With our Light Show on Thursday, we need to close after school care early. All students need to be picked up by 5:00 PM. Logistically with the display set ups and the route expanding to the career center, we need to have the route clear to set up for the show. Thank you for understanding and we hope you plan to join us on Thursday evening for the Liberty Light Show!

We are looking forward to our Gratitude Gathering lunches next Wednesday and Thursdays. These meals are provided by our cafeteria staff and there is a cost for anyone who is not a student to join us. The cost of an adult meal is $5.30. Cash (exact change) and checks only please. We apologize this information was left off the printed invitation. The digital invitation is attached. It was a beautiful day for outdoor learning! Ms. Duncan's class enjoyed their math lesson in our outdoor classroom today. We are so fortunate to have this fantastic space to learn.

Good Afternoon, LPS Families! Click here for the latest LPS Newsletter: https://secure.smore.com/n/ruxq7

Good Morning! We’ve had a great first few days at LPS. Now that we are settling into regular routines, students will walk themselves to class during AM arrival, beginning tomorrow morning (Wed, Aug 7). Parents of 3K-4K students may park and walk across the crosswalk but an adult can assist at the front doors for any hesitant students. K-2nd grade students should use the car line. Staff will be spaced throughout the car line as well as in the building to assist students as they make their way to class. We are so proud of how our students have adjusted to our return to school! Thank you for your cooperation as we work to get into our regular arrival routines and ensure safety of all students.

Our first two days of school have been AMAZING! Have a great weekend and we will see you all next week!
