
Dacusville Christmas Parade has been changed to 3:00 PM today.
Chorus will meet to sing the National Anthem at 2:30 at the judges table then walk with DES for the remainder of the parade!

DES Chorus had the honor of singing at the Dacusville Tree Lighting last night!




Beginning Monday, we will start December Day's of Holiday Dress up! We encourage everyone to dress up for the next couple of weeks leading up to our Holiday Break! We can't wait to see all the creative ways our students and staff participate.


Dacusville Schools Pageant Registration Due SOON!
Please submit the $50 non-refundable registration fee along with the Contestant Information Sheet to Dacusville Middle School on or before 4:00 pm, this Friday, December 1st. Late entries will be accepted with an additional $10 late fee on Monday, December 4th and Tuesday, December 5th. The entry fee and registration form must both be submitted before the deadline. We have created an online way to pay for your Miss Gold Waves pageant registration through my school bucks for DMS and DES. If your student needs a new registration packet, please see Mrs. Moody at the DMS front desk.

Mrs. Amy Griffith's class enjoyed a Zoom meeting with Chaplain (Brigadier General) Bobby V. Page to honor veterans. This was Mrs. Griffith's cousin from Texas.

Kindergarten students learned about the first Thanksgiving during their Making History field trip!



Kindergarten enjoyed a fun day learning all about life in the past and the first Thanksgiving! We made candles, wrote with feathers and ink, made and tasted butter, and got to explore many toys and artifacts from long ago.

Lemonade day is learning about the business side of getting lemonade from farm to table (Learning the supply chain). Third grade students enjoyed this activity with students from our Pickens County Career and Technology Center.
