Back to School tip from Liberty Primary: Have you updated your child's information in FinalForms? Caregivers must complete a required online student information update in FinalForms, an online forms and data management service that is replacing our former "Registration Gateway." This must be completed in order for your child to be enrolled for the 2023-2024 school year. An email with information was sent to caregivers on July 13, 2023 - please look in your inbox for this info and access the update at the link provided in your email.

Back to School tip from Liberty Primary: Next Thursday, July 27 is Meet the Teacher day! Teachers contacted parents via email on Thursday, July 20, but many have found that these emails went to Junk or Spam folders. Please check your email - including Junk and Spam - for an email from your child’s teacher so that you will know how to schedule a time for Meet the Teacher before next week. At Liberty Primary School, we are intentional about creating “moments like this” that make learning and growing fun and memorable for our Wolfpack. At the end of each school year, students participate in Summer Celebration Week. This year, we celebrated BIG with a Field Day luau on Monday, a ton of foam and water play on Tuesday, and a day full of carnival rides and cotton candy on Wednesday! We also conducted our special “wish well” and bridging ceremonies for our 2nd and 3rd graders who will transition to Liberty Elementary next year. We are so thankful for this year with our Wolfpack and hope to send them off for the summer with great memories of their 2022-2023 school year!

We enjoyed showering our staff with appreciation all week, but the flower bar boutique was our favorite! Each student picked a flower for their teachers and they created the prettiest bouquets! We have amazing students and staff at LPS!
This week, as we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, we also want to honor our principal, Mrs. Jessica Patterson, for National School Principals' Day (May 1)! We are so thankful to have her lead our Wolfpack. Mrs. Patterson is a recognized leader in early childhood and literacy, and is dedicated to utilizing developmentally appropriate practices for students. She uses these skills to ensure that our students and teachers are the best they can be every day! Mrs. Patterson was named the 2020 SC Elementary Principal of the Year, and under her leadership, Liberty Primary School has been recognized as a National Model School for 3 years! We are so proud of the work Mrs. Patterson has done and continues to do to lead us at LPS!

Every year, students in grades 3-8 take SCREADY tests. Although we are a primary school with students in grades PreK-2nd, our Montessori program houses some third graders at LPS who will participate in the SCREADY end of the year state testing. A schedule of testing days is included below.
